Trail Of Light
Gracie Vandiver & Friends About Gracie Vandiver
The songs on Trail of Light reflect the journey from alcoholism and addiction to a new life in recovery. It's a compilation CD that includes music from a variety of very talented independent artists and award-winning songwriters, including Paul Williams, Mary Gauthier, Jon Vezner, Jack Sundrud, and Sharon Vaughn, offering many different vocal styles and musical genres. The first twelve songs lyrically address the emotional twists and turns on the path, reflecting "What it was like," "What happened," and "What it's like now." The fifteen-song journey concludes with "A vision for you," offering songs of hope and inspiration to maintain solid footing in day-to-day recovery.
"I am so impressed by the high quality of the music and recording and the meaningfulness of the lyrics on Trail of Light. This CD is a major contribution to the alcohol and drug abuse treatment field and I highly recommend it."

Gracie's "Treatment Center Tour" offers men and women in treatment the unique opportunity to hear an acoustic music performance of songs between the sharing of her personal story about getting and staying clean and sober, and some of the spiritual truths she has learned during her fifteen years of sobriety. As her story unfolds, Gracie's songs remind us that we are not alone on this journey, and it's easier to stay clean and sober when we are willing to ask for help.
About Sonia Lee
Sonia Lee, a 2006 Kerrville New Folk Finalist, has soothing and authentic Americana style vocals that are finally in the limelight, after performing for years in bands and as a background vocalist from New York to Nashville. Her style is reminiscent of early Emmy Lou Harris and Alison Krauss. Originally from Rochester, New York, Sonia joined the Nashville songwriting community in 1998 and the fruits of her labor shine forth on her three CDs. As a singer/songwriter, Sonia writes from personal experience - - she has been sober and in recovery from alcoholism for eleven years. Her CD, "Chance To Start Over," features songs reflecting Sonia's experience, strength, and hope as a sober woman. The title track, co-written with Gracie Vandiver, is the Sober Café Podcast theme song. While introducing songs during live performances, Sonia shares her personal story that led to her finding recovery and her quest to live her life by spiritual principals. She is currently touring with the Hazelden Women Healing conferences.
